Syncing your multiple accounts to your Android device can be helpful, but if you’re prolific with content in your various accounts, searching through your millions of files, documents, and other data for one exact file could be gruesome and time-consuming.  You’d wish there were a magic wand that you could flick to summon just that exact file you’re looking for.

The CloudMagic app just may be that magic wand.  It is an app for Android that will help you magically search through your various accounts “in a second”–all in just one app.

CloudMagic is an online cross-platform search tool for your email, contacts, calendar, events, social networks, and all other accounts supported by the app. This app lets you search specific content across your multiple accounts, from either your desktop computer or your Android phone.

Cloud Magic’s user interface is simple and so easy to use. The app supports content filtration, voice search, real-time search suggestions, and a useful homescreen widget to make your search easier and faster.

Before using the app, you need to sign-up and create your CloudMagic account for free. To do that just press the sign-up button on the app’s homescreen and type in the necessary information. Once done, you can now use and search multiple accounts.

CloudMagic also needs you to connect your various account supported by the app (e.g., your Gmail account, Google apps, Google Docs, Google Contacts, Google Calendar, and Twitter). Facebook is not currently compatible with the app, but developers vow to make it available soon. To associate your accounts, you will need to go to Menu > Settings from within the app and choose add a new service. You can also activate or deactivate services through the Manage service option in the Settings menu.

Once all set, you can now magically search through all your accounts. To search, just type the search terms you are looking for in the app’s search box. The search happens in real-time and search results appear while you type. You may also filter search results to make the search faster by narrowing down the search scope. To do that, just click the CloudMagic icon on the upper-left corner of the screen and select the appropriate search result you want to display.

CloudMagic also features a widget that you can place on your phone’s homescreen. Through the widget, you can directly search your accounts without needing to launch the app from the app menu. The widget also displays your most recent searches so you can search faster.

With the help of CloudMagic, you can now comb through your multiple accounts and find that specific file “in a second”.  If you want to try this app, you may download CloudMagic from the Android Market for free.

Have you tried using CloudMagic on your phone?  And, does it deliver on its promise of “finding stuff in a second”?
