The latest Chrome Beta build of Google's Android web browser contains a dinosaur themed Easter egg. Here's how to find it.
I might be the completely wrong time of year but Google has an Easter egg for you. This one is hidden away inside the latest Chrome Beta app for Android.
If you don’t have it installed already, you can grab the latest version of Chrome Beta from this Play Store link. The Easter egg can be triggered when you try to access a webpage without a data connection. I won’t completely spoil the surprise for you, so here’s the instructions on how to easily activate it:
- Turn on airplane mode (to ensure you’re offline)
- Open the latest Chrome beta
- Try to go to a website
- Tap the blinking dinosaur
