We’re reporting live here from Las Vegas, at CES 2012! Lots of exciting things are coming up, and here’s our take on Lenovo’s latest tablet – with Tegra 3 and an HD display on board….
Earlier today we gave you a hands-on with Lenovo’s new IdeaPad tablet, that is running Android 4.0. Well Lenovo also announced a S2 smartphone to go along with that tablet. The S2 10 tablet is weighing in at a little less then 1.5 pounds, and just to refresh your memory here are the specs:
Lenovo's first smartphone, and first Android smartphone will sadly be running Android 2.3 out of the box, but Ice Cream Sandwich should be on it's way very soon for the S2 smartphone. Here are some of it's specs:
I don't know about you guys, but I am very surprised at only a 3.8-inch touchscreen. I was expecting a 4″ or higher. Also the RAM size is pretty disappointing, only half a gigabyte for the 8GB model and a full gigabyte for the 16GB model. The fact that the S2 smartphone is launching with Gingerbread isn't a big surprise, but I'd sure would have liked to see it running Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, wouldn't you?
These devices are expected to start off in the Chinese market, but will eventually make their way to the rest of the world. Great news and awesome new devices already shown off at CES and it hasn't even officially started yet. Stay tuned for much more!
