Today Sprint announced that its version of the HTC Hero will be available to customers on October 11. The Sprint version of the device loses the original’s chin, as we had heard, but still features…
It seems that those crazy folks at Cellular South are going to upstage Sprint by offering the same HTC Hero, a fantastic device, for a mere $99.99 with contract. It has also opened up pre-sales for the Hero.
The device is offered on a $79.99 unlimited data, voice, and texting plan. And if you get one of these smartphone plans, you can get a second unlimited smartphone plan for only $39.99. You still need to buy the second Hero, but that’s a pretty good deal for families.
More info available at the Cellular South website.
