Last week at IFA, HTC took the wraps off the vivid blue version of the HTC One. While we’ve known for a while that a blue version of the One was in the works, what we weren’t so sure about is what carrier would end up with it in the United States. Most reports seemed to suggest Verizon, but Sprint was also rumored to be getting the device.
As it turns out, Best Buy has now confirmed they are the exclusive retail partner for the blue HTC One. Not only will the blue HTC One arrive to Best Buy stores on September 15th, it will come in versions that support AT&T, Sprint and Verizon’s 4G LTE networks.
Even more interesting, Best Buy has confirmed the U.S. version of the blue HTC One will be actually be called metallic blue, and will be slightly darker than what was shown off at IFA (pictured above). This actually makes sense, as a previously leaked picture of the Verizon blue HTC One seemed to be a shade or two darker than what we were expecting.
Besides the color change, the blue HTC One will be the exact same handset that we already know and love. For those that need a refresher, that means it will arrive with a 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 600 quad-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 4 Ultrapixel back, 2.1MP front cam, and the same 4.7-inch Full HD display.
So what do you think, anyone planning on picking up the blue HTC One from Best Buy or not?

The HTC One was a fine effort but these color changes are too little and hardly too late as there unnecessary; HTC ur competing against the Note 3!
