With its amazingly thin bezel and powerful specs, LG’s Optimus G Pro appears to be positioned to go after the Galaxy Note 2’s jugular. What’s more is that LG’s Official Mobile Facebook page has recently put on display a black version of this very device for all to see.
LG didn’t give out too many other details, but the pictures show a model with the LG Uplus operator logo on it. LG Uplus is a South Korean mobile network that LG controls, and, while it’s not guaranteed, it’s a safe bet to to assume that the black edition of the LG Optimus G Pro will make its way to the rest of the world, too.
Still, LG doesn’t say anything about availability, and only says that this is a preview of “what’s to come near you very soon.” How soon only the company knows, but it will be interesting to see whether both editions will arrive to the U.S. in May, when the release date is rumored to be.
Judging from the pictures, apart from the color, there doesn’t seem to be much of a difference from the white version – it’s just black with a silver element around it.
