The Samsung Galaxy S3 is, arguably, the hottest smartphone in the world right now. Released last week at the Samsung Unpacked event in London, the Galaxy S3 sports a 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, a large…
We had heard about a 64GB Samsung Galaxy S3 back in August. And well, UK retailer Clove has begun to accept pre-orders for the handset. There is however, a catch. First things first though, the pricing. The handset will set you back £500. Or more specifically, £600 including VAT.
Now for the catch, which comes in with the release date. Clove has not offered up a specific date just yet. In fact, depending on the level of pre-orders they may not even end up carrying the handset. The retailer noted that;
“If we have received enough pre-order interest for the handset and decide to range it, we will ask customers to confirm these pre-orders and to make payment. At this stage we will provide an updated ETA for the arrival of stock.”
Basically, Clove is accepting pre-orders for the device, but this is one of the more uncommon pre-order setups. Clove began accepting the pre-orders today (November 5) and will continue to accept them for two weeks. At the two week mark they will determine the level of interest and whether or not they will have the handset available. Furthermore, those who place a pre-order — you should be aware that once this initial two week period is over, the handset may not ship for an additional 5 to 6 weeks.
Bottom line here, the 64GB Samsung Galaxy S3 (in black) is available for pre-order from Clove, however it may take up to 7 to 8 weeks to arrive — if it arrives.
