Best Dual Sim Android Phones

Because 2 sims are better than 1

May 21, 2014

While many folks can get by with a single-SIM handset, there’s something to be said about the flexibility that is afforded to you when you have a dual SIM device. A dual-SIM setup allows you to not only potentially have two different phone numbers but you can also have one SIM for data, another SIM for calling and text, you can more easily travel abroad without having to remove your primary SIM card and the list goes on.

Typically manufacturers do not make dual¬†SIM¬†versions of all their phones, instead they usually create dual SIM¬†models¬†for phones that are popular in the international markets. On this page you will find our list of the best Dual Sim Android phones on the market. For those looking for both exceptional performance and killer pricing, you’ll certainly want to turn your attention towards the recently released dual-SIM variant of the Moto G. For users in India, it’s also worth noting that a dual-SIM version of the Moto E is available at an even more aggressive price point.

We will keep this list up to date as new phones are released, as always please share your thoughts on what you think the best Dual Sim Android phone is.

I have Samsung Grand 2 Duos which is perfectly fine…not included in your list?

What about S4, S5, Note 2, Note 3, HTC M7, Dual similar varieties, they are ” Dual SIM Full Active” High end products.

    • Derek Scott

We excluded those devices because they are usually created solely for the Chinese markets.

      • Jaded

Many top brand devices are created for multiple markets, from my own experience in the middle east for example you can find several dual sim models from Samsung like Grand, Grand 2, Note 3 Neo Duos, Core duos, etc and they come with full android i.e. android store included not like the china-only devices. These are the ones I know of, but I’ve seen others from LG, Huawei etc on offer as well

  • robymus

I’m using Oppo R819. You should add to the list, it’s a nice phone.

  • Ruz

even HTC One has a dual sim variant. Weird

  • Matt

Are there any 4g dual sim phones?

  • tom s

I have just bought an NGM from Italy, sold to me in Denmark but also available from the NGM online shop. No detailed review here except to say that it a nice size, nearly the same shape n size as the Samsung S4 but a lot cheaper

Also available is the Samsung i9502 (watch out for fakes/clones) which was only ever for the Chinese market, so does not come with the Google Store connection, than needs a new cut of the operating system to be loaded, some available from Hong Kong in the usual auction / shopping sites.

  • Gabriel

What about the wiko darkside? How does that compare to the motoroloa moto g?

  • brian oconnor

how about Ployer Momo 9 3g?

  • Ayubu Zimbale

    Fairphone is dual-sim, isn’t it?

  • Newb Cybot

I want a high-end dual SIM phone. What should I get and how can I get it?

    • Jaded

One of the best on the market now is Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos. Spec is same as the regular S5, but with the extra sim. Incidentally it’s also Samsung’s first high end dual sim phone released globally, so not restricted in any way, comes with play store etc. So should be available in your country otherwise you’ll find it in several retailers online

      • Toyin

Hi, apart from the Samsung Galaxy S5 Duos, which other one would you recommend? Are any Sony products that are good enough?
