Xperia Tablet S to resume sales mid-November

Sony Japan have confirmed that the 9.4-inch Xperia Tablet S will resume sales mid-November. A few weeks ago the company halted sales when a small manufacturing fault was found where water breached part of its 'waterproof' chassis on some of the units. This defect occurred because of a small gap between the display panel and the back of the product.

With Halloween just around the corner, game developers are releasing themed updates that go with the season. For one, survival horror first-person shooter Dead Trigger is getting a Halloween-themed update in time for October 31. Madfinger Games has released a teaser by way of its Facebook page.

Samsung Galaxy S3 to be released in black come October 24

Samsung will release the black Galaxy S3 version on October 24, thus answering calls for the traditional black color that seems to make any smartphone look strikingly pleasing. Samsung originally planned to replace black with Pebble Blue, which was as close as Samsung got to black, without it actually being black.
