by: Rann May SmithNovember 11, 2011

After Samsung confirmed early this month that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus will start reaching U.K. stores on November 17, the release date of the much-awaited flagship Google smartphone has been delayed yet again–to December 2 for the U.K.

The new release date for the Galaxy Nexus in the U.K. was reflected in an updated product page for the Galaxy Nexus on Amazon UK.

Samsung has not yet made any comment regarding the delay.  Many U.K. customers have already pre-ordered their handsets. Amazon UK doesn’t seem to have any information about the cause or rationale for the delay either.

by: Rann May SmithNovember 11, 2011

Surprisingly, accessories for Galaxy Nexus made it to Verizon’s stores before the Galaxy Nexus did.  Reports from the field say first batches of Galaxy Nexus accessories have reached Verizon stores, and they have been photographed as proof of their arrival.

A Droid Life tipster, presumably one with access to a Verizon store, sent in a photo of the accessories that arrived. The batch of accessories included the Galaxy Nexus shell/holster combo casings (with kickstand) and silicone covers.

Verizon has kept mum about the exact date of the Galaxy Nexus release date, however there have been speculations that the handset will be released on November 17or [...]
