Google Play Edition: exactly what we asked for, but maybe not what we wanted

by: Nate SwannerJune 27, 2013
The One is a grand slam for HTC, and the Galaxy S4 is a healthy progression for Samsung’s feature lineup. What if those were Nexus devices?! The world wondered aloud, and looked crossly in the direction of LG’s subtle buzz generator.

FingerQ: A case that provides the ultimate in security

by: Nate SwannerJune 26, 2013
While a fingerprint may seem like enough security, the cases are meant to work in unison with existing OS security. by: Nate SwannerJune 26, 2013

Google Search update has some great new features

by: Nate SwannerJune 26, 2013
In Google Now, a card with the title “Listen for a TV show” will allow you to get info about what you’re watching in real time, without entering any data. Maybe that actor was on a really great show you used to love, but can’t quite remember the name.

Casio G’zone for Verizon coming soon

by: Nate SwannerJune 25, 2013
If you’re looking for a phone that you can drop from a helicopter, then pick up and probably make a call with, you may already be familiar with Casio and their G’zone devices. The rugged gear may not turn heads with their hardware specs, but it may survive more bumps and falls than you or I ever will.

Samsung in discussions to settle EU antitrust complaints

by: Nate SwannerJune 25, 2013
Though it’s possible Samsung could simply walk away from the talks with no penalty, it’s not likely. If the EU finds that Samsung willingly violated FRAND guidelines, there will certainly be penalties.
