Version 1.0.6 of Google+ has just been released this month. Android users of its standard smartphone app will be happy to note that this latest update presents a function for re-sharing content posted by other users. Simply choose a post, click on the re-share option and then select who in your network will be allowed to see it.
No release dates have yet been announced but the web edition for other mobile devices, as well as the specific version for the iOS, is reportedly going to receive the upgrade soon.

BlackBerry manufacturer Research in Motion (RIM) just officially released their OS 7 this August. There are rumors that parts of the programming in this latest BlackBerry platform, specifically version 126.96.36.1993 may actually contain some coding compatible with or similar to the Android operating system and application development framework.

Sony announced that triple-A game titles will be coming soon for the Xperia Play. The statement was given this week in Gamescom, one of the biggest trade fair events for video games held every year in Cologne, Germany.
Representing the company was Tim Harrison, the head for Sony Ericsson’s content marketing and strategy. He revealed that more focus will be given to content design and production in order to mitigate the lack of titles for the Android device. Chinese mobile company Xiaomi recently announced that it’s coming out with a smartphone called the Xiaomi M1. Naturally this would be the one Android phone that’s specifically built around the customized Android user interface MIUI. Unlike what the earlier reports stated however, the M1 or Xiaomi phone is going to be driven by a faster processor and may also be released at a lower price. The targeted date for release is October and customers can pre-order the handset by August 29.
