As if being some of the most well-equipped Android-powered handsets ever wasn't reason enough, Verizon has now decided to take $50 off the prices of both the Motorola DROID RAZR HD and the DROID RAZR MAXX HD, making them more wallet-friendly than ever before. The DROID RAZR HD is now available for $149.99 while the DROID RAZR MAXX HD goes for $249.99.
Galaxy Note 2 knockoff offers 5.5-inch screen and Jelly Bean at $150
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was first released just a little over two and a half months ago. But apparently someone in China has decided that it's already ripe for the cloning. Indeed, you can now purchase a brand new Galaxy Note II knockoff in China that, according to its retail box, goes by the name "Android Note II." And its casing is decked out in all white, to boot.
HTC One SV goes through FCC, hints at U.S. release with 4G LTE
The HTC One SV has already received FCC approval. It has been vetted for use with GSM bands 850 and 1900 as well as WCDMA bands II and V. Strangely, the documents don't mention anything about it being approved for use with LTE.
Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour now available through Google Play

Evidently, the issues that plagued its initial release have more or less been resolved.
Rumors: Samsung working on 6.3-inch Galaxy Note 3, prepping to launch the Galaxy S4 at MWC 2013
New information about next year's flagship Android devices from Samsung have surfaced online by way of a recent report on The Korea Times. It is said that Samsung is currently "developing the Galaxy Note 3 with a 6.3-inch screen using an OLED display" based on information from local parts suppliers. They also threw a bit about the Samsung Galaxy S4 in there, saying that it will be introduced at Mobile World Congress in February of 2013

Yahoo! launches speedy new e-mail client for Android and other platforms
According to the official announcement posted by Mayer on Yahoo!'s corporate blog Yodel Anecdotal, the new Yahoo! e-mail client was redesigned with speed in mind. And if you try it out for yourself, you'll find that it is indeed faster than the version that was available before the update. Also, there is now consistency in the look and feel of the e-mail client across all devices and platforms. Samsung tops LTE smartphone market in Q3 2012, says research
According to the data gathered by Strategy Analytics, Samsung took the biggest chunk of the LTE smartphone market, with its LTE-enabled devices accounting for 40% of total unit sales. This number is actually lower than its record last quarter, which reached 50.9% at its peak. But it's still a good deal greater than the share of other phone makers like LG, Motorola, and Apple.
