by: Christine TorralbaFebruary 19, 2012

Judging on Motorola’s history, we have reason to believe that this leaked photo is the Motorola Atrix 3. Apart from this, the device does not have any capacitive buttons on it; keeping it in line with the previous render released of the Medfield-powered handset. While this is not 100% definite, we’re pretty excited to see the device; especially since its specs have been unveiled in the leak.

The device is equipped with a 4.3-inch 720p screen, 2GB RAM, quad-core Tegra 3 processor, and 3300mAh battery. Wow, right? Moreover, the camera is powered with a 10MP feature complete with dual LED flashes.

With these specs, we have reason to believe that the leaked photo is [...]

Friendly Advice for MWC Attendees from Android Authority

by: Christine TorralbaFebruary 19, 2012

Uh-oh! BIG uh-oh!

If you’re planning to go to the Mobile World Congress next week, you better be ready; and we mean not just with your camera, food, water, and energy to keep you going throughout the day!

We just learned that there will be a transportation strike from Barcelona’s main public transportation operator, the TMB. While the strike has been slated for February 27 to March 1, there is reason to believe that it will not affect the event itself. However, if you’re going to MWC and hoping to get some shopping sightseeing done, this transportation strike may affect you. The strike has also been believed to affect all major bus and metro routes throughout [...]

According to a post on the official SwiftKey blog, the app developers have very recently added a new language information feature; which they have named as ‘conversation models.’ As stated on their blog, this feature is an attempt to give support to SwiftKey app users by making predictions on words normally used in short messages and don’t need a full vocabulary. Archos Arnova 8b G2 Tablet is a-OK

by: Christine TorralbaFebruary 18, 2012

Admittedly, there are a lot of people who are unfamiliar Archos’ Arnova tablet lineage. But even though, we believe we are putting things at a fair game here, especially since this line comes cheaper than the price of the (already) cheap main series of Android tablets. So when the company announced the latest member of its Arnova family, we did not stop to re-consider if it would be a good topic to talk about; as we’re sure someone somewhere is looking for a starter tablet that won’t cost him an arm and leg.

The latest entry to this lineage is the Arnova 8b G2, which is only a slight update to the previous Arnova 8 G2. The specs of the new tablet include 800×600 [...]

The Android Market is now being graced by the presence of an exciting app called the Air Display app. Exclusively for Android tablets, the app enables each user to get access to a wireless visual display of their Windows or Mac OS X system. This is why many consider it as an extension or even a mirror display of their computers at home or office.

Apart from wirelessly accessing the display, users can also navigate the screen with the use of a mouse or a touchscreen. As soon as the app has been set up with an Android device, the desktop screen expands itself onto the tablet. Automatically, the main display returns to its single-screen mode when the app has been closed. [...]
