Thanks to a brand new promotion, AT&T customers who purchase a Galaxy S4, Note 3, Note 2 or Galaxy S4 Active will receive a brand new 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3!
As you probably guessed, you will need to either sign a two-year contract or use AT&T’s NEXT service in order to qualify for this promotion. The only other catch is that the tablet will need to be added to an existing AT&T Mobile Share plan, which will set you back $10 a month. AT&T’s free tablet promotion is currently being offered through AT&T’s stores, though the offer will soon be available online as well.
In addition to the free tablet promo, AT&T also announced that it will be giving out an $100 AT&T Promotion Card to anyone who trades in an eligible smartphone and purchase a new device through AT&T Next. Both promotions are limited time offers and are set to end on January 9th of 2014.
What do you think, anyone planning on picking up an AT&T Samsung device and taking advantage of this offer while it lasts?

Thanks for the info but it is not really a deal. $10 extra a month is $240 after a 2 year contract. That means you are paying more than it costs outright for the wifi only version of this tablet which is $179.
typical of at&t. No matter what, they win.
Yea most carriers are like that. Out for as much money as they can get.
it would have been a better deal for them if they updated more of their samsung phones to 4.3 like the other carriers are doing (hint: to sell more gears) as even with the note 3 alone they are constantly getting out of stock with the gear
Yea att sucks with updates. So did verizon when i was with them. At least the att s3 has 4.3 via roms.
Maybe they wil stat charging you americans for using bluetooth like they do wifi hot spots on your phone!
22,80€/month 50mbit/s 4g (no limit) 300 min 25sms in Finland, consistantly arround 48mbit/s with speed test using my hotspot for my computer I have used 74Gbits for this month so far :-)
Just another scam by a wireless company. Plus why do you need a mobile plan for a “wifi tablet”? It kinda offends me how these companies like AT&T take advantage and try to screw people over. All of these wireless plans are a complete and utter joke.. They give you a “subsidized price” if you buy a phone through them, but you end up paying 3x what the phone was actually worth if go through a two year contract. I don’t know why these major companies can’t offer cheaper plans. I use at least 5GBs of data a month, and luckily I’m still on an unlimited plan. If I ever lose it, it would cost me too much to pay for data through AT&T. You can go through a company like Straight Talk and get everything unlimited for 45$ a month. That’s reasonable enough to me. Plus you can bring pretty much any phone to them and keep using it.
Even if this wasn’t a scam by AT&T it’s very difficult to recommend a Galaxy Tab 3 7″ over the Nexus 7.
totally agree. The Tab 3 7″ is weak! It cannot even run Deadzone Shadowgun smoothly, which runs very well on the Nexus 7 of 2012.
Yeah, the entire Galaxy Tab 2013 is terrible. Note series is much better IMO
DO NOT and I REPEAT DO NOT go to AT&T..LMAO! Come to T-Mobile… BBM Me: 7B725FA9
