With recent mention coming from T-Mobile and Sprint, it looks like we now have word from AT&T. This news deals with the upcoming availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet and AT&T has offered up an official price and a release date. In short, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will be available on November 9 and it will arrive priced at $499.99.

Right off the bat, the AT&T pricing is a bit nicer as compared with Sprint. Sprint will have the tablet priced at $550. Perhaps even nicer though, AT&T is giving customers a chance to knock a $100 off the purchase price. Granted, that means buying another Samsung device, however if you were already in the market for a new smartphone and a new tablet, this could be a nice offer.

According to the details provided;

“AT&T is giving customers more reasons to purchase a Samsung device this holiday season as part of a limited time offer that gives customers up to $100 off the purchase of any connected Samsung device of lesser or equal value, including the new Samsung ATIV smart PC and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, when they purchase any Samsung Galaxy smartphone (w/ two-year agreement incl. qualifying voice and data plans).”

In other words, buy two Samsung devices from AT&T and you will get a $100 discount on the one that is the lower priced.

Otherwise, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and 4G LTE connectivity along with specs to include a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800) display, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, a microSD card slot, VGA quality front-facing camera, 3 megapixel rear-facing camera and 7,000 mAh battery.

    Wow an whole ad for brown version gs4 , so much money is wasted on marketing , they should have used that money for making 32gb and 64gb s4 version and delivering it fast as possible .

    • Hoggles

      Ummm….the ad was not at all trying to showcase the brown S4. The ad was obviously simply showcasing the phones features. You must not have watched it. There is no need to rush out 32gb & 64gb models. That’s what a SD card is for. I have 150+ apps, tons of music, video, pics, nand backups…you name it. All of this on my 16gb S4. Mind boggling how that can work…eh.

      • http://twitter.com/piyushr21 Piyush

        you dont need 32gb or 64gb version that dosent mean i dont need it and i am gamer and i cant install my favourite games on 16gb .

  • simpleas

    @Piyush
    They have money for that… they don’t have to save an ad to do that. We’re talking about production issues. You have to remember Sammy busts out gaziilion smartphones. I hope the new automation process will help with that tho.

      than why they say that there will be 32gb and 64gb version ,its false marketing than , they should tell us that it will be releasing after 4-5months. and still there were very few 64gb version gs3 and note 2.
