The AT&T Pantech Magnus originally leaked way back in August, and then seemed to promptly disappear. Now, another image has leaked, leading us to wonder: could the phone see a release soon?

Though we don't really have any more details that when the phone was leaked previously, at least this time the screen is turned on. Spec wise, previous rumors have been that the Pantech Magnus will have a 720p display, a 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 processor, an Adreno 225 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. Screen size can't be accurately ascertained, but it will likely be 4.3 or 4.5 inches.

There is still no word on pricing or a possible release date, or even any word at all. All we have for now is the leaked image. Still, it's more likely than not that the leak means the phone is nearing release.

Keep in mind that the last time the Pantech Magnus leaked, we assumed that a launch was imminent. Now, more than two months later, here we are again, so while we're assuming that this means that a launch is inching closer, we still have no idea how far off it could be.

Assuming that when it does launch, it launches with the rumored specs, what do you think of the AT&T Pantech Magnus? Do you or anyone you know have a use for a (hopefully) cheap LTE smartphone?

AT&T is the least customer oriented carrier in the US. I was with them for 8 years and got burned so bad that I will never give them my business again. Lucky for Verizon I suppose.

Hangouts video chat worked just fine on AT&T’s network from my Nexus 4 to my girlfriends One X. Neither of us were connected to Wi-Fi.

Glad i live in the netherlands, they can’t block anything here. It’s regulated by law, netneutrality. Actually we are the first country in the world with this ;-)

Us carriers are such retarded. Well not really in fact, they just over abuse of a bunch of stupid consumers (don’t deny it, average american is stupid. I’m not saying it’s not the same elsewhere at all though). Real consumers thus suffer of these things but are bounded within abusive clauses.
