The excellent HTC One X may finally be starting to show its age, but AT&T is still rolling out the updates. The handset set to receive an update to Sense 5.0 and Android 4.2.2 this week. Just a couple of weeks ago AT&T also updated the HTC One X+ to the same version of Android and Sense 5.0.

The update brings all the familiar Android 4.2.2 fixes and a handful of feature tweaks, such as multiple lockscreen pages for widgets, Daydream, and some security enhancements. But more importantly for HTC users, the One X will also be updated to Sense 5 which brings the all new HTC Blinkfeed, HTC Gallery, and a cleaner camera interface, as well as a pretty massive overhaul to the traditional HTC user interface. If you’d like a more in-depth look at the ins and outs of the update then check out this post from HTC.

AT&Ts update has now passed Technical Approval, and is scheduled to start rolling out over-the-air as early as tomorrow, Wednesday 29th January. As always, you can manually check for the update by heading over to Settings> Software Update> Check for Updates.

Sadly Android 4.2 will be as far as HTC will update the trusty old One X, but it’s had a very good run.
