The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update confirms once again that Asus is one of the quickest manufacturers to get devices updated to the latest Android versions.

Asus has made Transformer Pad Infinity users very happy today, and it did so just by posting an image on its Facebook account, which included the fact that an Android 4.2 update for their devices is coming. Who wouldn’t be happy about such good news?

The Asus Transformer Pad Infinity had been updated last October to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Asus has been moving quite a few devices to Jelly Bean lately (for example, the company has updated both its Padfone devices recently).

If you own Asus Transformer Pad Infinity, the updated should be available to it soon enough (a user on the Asus Facebook page was reporting that it was already downloading on his device). The update to Android 4.2 should bring, among other things, multi-user support and the DayDream feature.

If you’re an Asus Transformer Pad Inifnity user, have you received the update yet?

  • Even with Android 4.2 , the Infinity has severe problems. I bought the Infinity and nothing worked as it should. It froze from time to time , it gave 3 restarts per day even if i upgraded to JB. I returned it one week later and bought the Note 10.1 with 3G. Lack of screen pixel density , but the tablet worked as a tablet should work.
