CNET is reporting that the CEO of ASUS, Jerry Shen, said that his company was planning to offer an Android based Eee Pad tablet in March of 2011. The comment was made during the company’s recent earnings call. Shen said that the device is planned to retail for US$399.
No specs for the upcoming device where mentioned.
ASUS already has two Windows based Eee Pad tablets scheduled for launch in January of next year.
