Asus has taken the Padfone on a world tour, but there are several countries on the map that the company hasn’t included so far, such as India. If word on the street is accurate, that may about to change real soon.

Phone Arena reported that the Asus Padfone will be arriving in India as early as next week. This is good news for folks who have been longing for that ever-morphing smartphone that can easily turn into a tablet, and then a netbook (if you purchase the keyboard dock).

The Padfone apparently isn’t the only device that Asus will have in store. The same report mentioned that alongside the Padfone, Asus will also debut the Transformer Pad TFT300T for the Indian market. Talk about a double-whammy of Asus goodness.

Unfortunately, the price for the two devices is still unknown at this point. We should be hearing more from Asus in the next couple of days. We do know that the Padfone is likely going to be pretty steeply priced, given that it is selling in the U.S. for about $850, but this gives you both the phone and its tablet dock, the Padstation.

In case you need a reminder, the Asus Padfone boasts a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD screen and is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor. Other specs include 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and 1,520mAh battery.

As for the Transfomer Pad TFT300T, the tablet has a 10.1-inch IPS display, quad-core 1.4GHz Tegra 3 chip, 1GB RAM, 8MP rear camera, 1.2MP front-facing camera, keyboard dock, and Jelly Bean.

How excited are you about the possible arrival of the two devices next week?
