Android mini collectables series

Here is a little sneaky post on some more unusual Android news which is slowly spreading around the interweb. An artist called Andrew Bell has teamed up with Google to produce some Vinyl Android figurines. Produced by Dyzplastic, this unusual offering is something unique to Android whereby 12 differently themed figurines will be boxed ‘blind’ so purchasers will not know which one they are set to receive when they buy one.

More of a collector’s item rather than something useful, there is no word on pricing yet but they are due for release in America later on this month. Judging from the naming scheme, it seems as though there will be more than one series of toys, and each one is likely to be a limited edition.
