By way of its support forums, T-Mobile has announced that it is rolling out direct account billing for Android Market purchases for its users of Android-powered smartphones like the G1, the CLIQ, and the myTouch…
It was only a few weeks back when Google’s Andy Rubin proudly commented on the 65,000 applications available in the Android Market. Well, as the graph to the right clearly shows, things are growing… almost exponentially.
If the trend demonstrated over the last few months remains consistent, then we should expect to see 100,000 applications in the Android Market by the end of this month. Right now we’re sat pretty at over 91,000 applications. Less then 9,000 more to go in over two weeks. If you check out the AndroidLib website, you will also come across a few more graphs which reveal some weird trends in the number of Android applications submitted per day, along with a country specific break down. Worth a look if you like to visualize data!
