Yet another app has become a living testament to the limitless possibilities of the Android OS.  Android Guys reports that Brad Filtzpatrick has created an application for his Android phone that allows his phone to control the opening and closing of his garage door.  The application works through communications between the wifi scanning device (your phone) and a webserver attached to the garage door opener.  By turning the wifi scanner on, you can trigger the webserver as your proximity enters within wifi range.  This application really has the potential for a lot of things, and I can really see a future for other applications of this application (pun not intended, really).

You can check out the source code for this peculiar app here.
