As expected, Google, during its Breakfast with Sundar Pichai event in San Francisco, officially took the covers off of Android 4.3. There won’t be much of a wait before the update starts rolling out, as Nexus device owners should begin seeing it sometime today.
Hugo Barra confirmed that the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 4, original Nexus 7, and Nexus 10 will be getting the update via OTA. The new Nexus 7, set to launch on July 30, will have Android 4.3 out of the box. As for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play Edition phones, they’ll also be receiving Android 4.3, but at a later, unannounced date. It shouldn’t be too long of a wait before the update lands, though.

Is the galaxy nexus getting the OTA update too?
But they will be the last to get…
“Android 4.3 will be initially available on the new Nexus 7, but it will be rolled out to existing Nexus devices including Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 10, Nexus 4 and Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Nexus devices will only get the OTA update later down the road.” ( http://www.androidauthority.com/android-4-3-jelly-bean-finally-official-heres-whats-new-248032/ )
Nexus user FTW!
Quick Question. When they say the Galaxy Nexus will get the update, do they mean ALL Galaxy Nexus’ ( like Sprint GNexus, Verizon GNexus) or JUST the google Galaxy Nexus.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say all Galaxy Nexus’, but as you might expect, the update will take longer to get to the Sprint and Verizon model.
Never got the update yet for my Nexus 4
