The latest version of Android along with the refreshed Sense 5.5 overlay is now heading to the HTC One in several European markets.
Just this week, HTC UK announced that the Android 4.3 update would only hit the UK version of the One in three to five weeks, leaving European users of the aluminum-clad device facing the prospect of even more waiting.
But HTC has already kicked off the rollout in some parts of the Old Continent: according to frequent leaker of all things HTC LlabTooFeR, Android 4.3 is now rolling out in Russia and countries in Eastern Europe, while Alex Dobie of Android Central confirmed the update for the Scandinavian versions of the HTC One.
The change log for the update mentions improvements to the Video Highlights feature, Music improvements, and a slew of bug fixes and tweaks. But the highlight of the update is the refreshed BlinkFeed, which can now be disabled, is compatible with more social networks, gains offline reading, and supports custom RSS feeds.
The OTA update weighs 675MB and brings the software version of the HTC One to 3.62.401.1. As usual, carrier versions of the device will be late to the table.
