AT&T and Samsung have just announced that an over-the-air upgrade for Android 2.3.6 has begun pushing out to AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket. The update is expected to resolve the Google Voice Search issue.
Galaxy S2 Skyrocket users are hoping that they could finally use Google Voice Search after the update.
If you haven’t received any notifications just yet, you may want to check for the update manually. To do so, just tap on Software Update under Settings and click on Check for Updates. Updates would usually run for minutes depending on your download speeds, so you might want to take a sit for this one.
Neither Samsung nor AT&T has not mentioned any other new feature in the update. However, some are suspecting that some good things are packed into the Android 2.3.6 update. So, if you own one of the Samsung Galaxy S2 Skyrocket, then you might want to check out your handset for the update.
Have you install the update on your phone? What other elements is included on the update?

No update yet as of today 01/05/2012 on my Skyrocket.
The update came two weeks ago for me. No major changes. The visuals for unlocking your screen has changed. Instead of swiping the unlock screen, a padlock shows up and unlocks when you swipe. Also, I’ve noticed some wifi issues have risen. Might be time to root.
Just did a recheck on mine based on your comment. Still shows as 2.3.5 being “up to date”
