Android 2.2. on HTC EVO 4G

The HTC EVO 4G hasn’t actually hit the shelves yet. Nonetheless, this wont stop the xda-developers if they want something. Indeed, they wanted Android 2.2 on the HTC EVO 4G, so that’s what they did.

It would seem as though this device could be what was handed out at Google I/O, but I need to get confirmation on that. Either way, it was only a few days ago that the HTC EVO 4G was successfully rooted, thus allowing for this port, so it is safe to say this port happened fast.
