Android 2.2 Froyo on the iPhone

Android 2.2 Froyo on the iPhone

We already knew about Android making its way onto the iPhone, but now we have a version of Froyo there too. Ok, so it isn’t a bells-and-whistles all-singing-all-dancing exaple of an Android port, but its still great to see. All the problems with this port so far are to be expected. The device runs very hot, very quickly, and the connectivity options such as WiFi require some attention. Also, the phone’s GPU unit is unrecognised. However, the basic foundations are in place for this thing to get full Android 2.2 functionality soon. We cannot wait!
