Android 2.2 FRF83 update
After a somewhat cryptic comment the other day from Google on their official support blog, the Android 2.2 FRF83 update may have now been released and is being pushed over-the-air (OTA) to many Nexus One devices. The news comes after Android and Me found that the OTA updates had happened to their devices and XDA-Developers posted the source file in .ZIP format
It will also be interesting to see what (if anything) Google have changed in this latest build of the Android 2.2, aka Froyo. We have already been informed that Google are not only looking to increase the time between iterations of the Android firmware, but also focus more on user interface design.

Have not noticed any changes between 72 and 83. I wonder whether this is the final release since Google has not made any announcement. Very few people have reported receiving an OTA update. We’ll see how this plays out.
