Amazon Wireless

We have said it before and we will likely say it again — if you shop for smartphones with third party retailers you are going to get a much better deal. Well, in most cases anyway. And on that note, it looks like Amazon Wireless has a pretty sweet deal on the Sony Xperia TL for AT&T. In short, they have the handset available for just one penny.

Of course, that is one penny on a two-year agreement, but those should be expected by most. Otherwise, there is a catch worth mentioning, the Amazon Wireless listing notes the Xperia TL as being backordered. According to the details, the handset should ship in 1 to 2 weeks. And sure, waiting a week or two is probably not ideal, however when it means saving $100, we suspect more than a few will be willing to wait.

Otherwise, the Xperia TL, aside from being the James Bond phone, brings features to include 4G LTE connectivity and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich along with a 4.6-inch HD Reality display with the Mobile Bravia Engine, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, NFC, a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera.
