Amazon Video will now let you download to SD Cards

Now it's even easier to take your favorite videos with you. Amazon Video and Amazon Prime Video let you download titles to your SD card on Android devices.

Sure, it’s great to have access to their library of movies and television shows from the comfort of your WiFi, but what about those times when you’re stuck on a long road trip or plane ride and you need your Mozart In The Jungle fix? Well, Amazon has heard your pleas.

As of today, Amazon Video and Amazon Prime Video will now allow Android users to download titles to their SD cards. Previously this capability was only available for your device’s internal storage, meaning you had to sacrifice precious limited space for your favorite videos.

This added feature is a pretty natural move, and the company has even made it so that you can set your SD card to be the default location for downloaded content. The options are totally customizable, so you’re not locked into any particular storage method.
