If you’re new to Amazon Underground you can score yourself a free $5 credit when you sign up and install one of a selected group of free games. You do need to be brand new to the service though, so if you’ve previously signed up for Amazon’s app store you won’t be eligible for the credit (although signing up with an alternate email address is no real hassle).

Amazon Underground has three times as many Android apps than ever before

All you need to do is enter your email address at the Amazon Underground sign up page and download the Underground app. Then, just install one of the selected games including Simple Sudoku, Simple Solitaire, Flow Free and Fruit Ninja Academy: Math Master to receive your $5 credit. You’ll have 10 days to use the credit, but it can only be used on physical items, not more apps.

Amazon Mothers Day credit

The promotion is arguably a Mother’s Day affair but there’s nothing stopping you from claiming your free credit for yourself (or from using the credit to buy something for your mom). Either way, it might be nice to let your mom know about it at least. There’s a limit of one credit per customer and the promotion lasts until May 8. See the full terms and conditions here.
