Samsung Galaxy Note 3 jet black aa 9

Thinking about picking up the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on AT&T, Sprint or Verizon but not willing to pay $300 and sign a contract? The good news is you can now get the Note 3 for as little as $199.99 through Amazon –depending on which carrier you choose.

The best value is for the Verizon version of the handset, which will set you back just $199.99 if you’re a new customer. Even if you are an existing customer, you still can upgrade for just $229.99.

The next best offer is from Sprint, where you can pick up the handset for $219.99 for new customers, or $249.99 for those planning to upgrade. Amazon is also offering a very small discount for AT&T customers, at $289.99 for both new and existing subscribers. The AT&T price cut might not be mcuh, but every dollar counts.

As a refresher, the Note 3 is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800, and comes equipped with 3GB of RAM. Other specs include a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED Full HD display, 32GB storage, microSD, 13MP back cam, 2MP front cam, an IR blaster, a 3,200 mAh battery and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. There’s also a redesigned S-Pen and plenty of brand new software features.

For those that have yet to decide whether or not to pick up the Note 3, you might want to check out our full review.

What do you think, planning on taking advantage of Amazon’s pricing and picking up the Note 3 at one of these lower price points?

    Thanks Patrick!

Never order a smartphone from them before, do I still get my Verizon warranty thing if I buy from amazon?

I believe Best Buy still has the AT&T Note 3 for $200, if they’re your carrier of choice. And you live near a Best Buy. That last part might get ya.

So if I’m a current customer with sprint and not yet eligible for an upgrade I can buy from Amazon and pay 249.99? From what I gather I would have to renew my contract but I’m eligible for an upgrade in Feb, would this take that upgrade eligibility away then?

Amazon.com still uses your account, so if you’re eligible for an upgrade, then you’re good. That’s how I ended up getting my S3. I find amazon.com’s prices to USUALLY be pretty good.

Where did you find the SPRINT upgrade price ? Everytime I go to the Sprint online store, or the real store in town, it’s always $350 for existing customers.
Where did you find the $249.99 upgrade price ????
