Amateur movie maker creates awesome video using only the Samsung Galaxy Note

Galaxy Note movie

The Samsung Galaxy Note with its 5.3″ screen is almost a mini-tablet, especially considering the stylus that gives the device its name. It launched late last year with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, but will be receiving an upgrade to Android 4.0 ICS soon. Along with this update comes a premium suite of apps that are optimized for use with S-pen. One such app is the S-note, a utility that allows the user to combine notes or sketches with other digital content, with a range of templates built-in.

If you were ever hesitant about the capabilities of this device, all you need is to do is watch the video below. You’ll get an idea of what the Galaxy Note can truly accomplish (of course, accompanied by an awful lot of talent and creativity).

The video was created by Dom Armstrong, an UK-based Samsung Mobiler. He used the Note’s S-Pen to draw the animation and took more than 4000 pictures to make up the stop motion video.

As one comment on the video says, “Epic movie is epic!”

The physical rocker was a – point for myself on the iphone when I had it (right back in the 2G/3G days). It was too easy to accidentally switch and also precluded any time-based silent mode as found on Android and on all old Nokias.

Why does Facebook use an old profile pic with this! That was 2 profile pictures ago and I hate it!
