Adventure Time: Card Wars Kingdom battles its way to the Play Store

There are tons of Adventure Time games out on the Google Play Store, but none that quite compare to the popularity of Adventure Time: Card Wars. If you’ve been waiting patiently for another Card Wars game to launch, you’re in luck. Today the much-loved game is getting a sequel.

The new game is called Card Wars Kingdom, and it looks to bring a new twist to the Card Wars game we all know and love. In case you’re unfamiliar, Card Wars is a card-based fighting game that lets you summon creatures and cast spells to defeat your opponent. All of your favorite Adventure Time characters are present in the game, too. So if you’re a fan of the show, you’re going to love playing this title.

Card Wars Kingdom is very similar to the original Card Wars game. You’ll of course get to build your own custom decks and collect new creatures as you win more battles. This time around, though, you can take part in PVP battles and play against other players. Also new to the game are tournament modes.

The launch of the Card Wars Kingdom mobile game coincides with the release of the real-life Card Wars Doubles Tournament tabletop game, which will be shown off at the San Diego Comic-Con later this month. The tabletop game launches on August 3.
