Similar to the FCC, Bluetooth Special Interest Group is a fountain of information regarding forthcoming devices and new gadgets. In this particular instance, we have picked up some healthy snippets of news concerning the E110 by Acer.

This device is alleged to run Android and offers a quadband GSM radio along with AT&T-friendly 850 / 1900 frequencies. It also has A-GPS for finding your way. There is not much more info to go off at the moment but consider this a taster before we scoop up the real dirt at MWC.

E110 Handheld, Phone E110 is a 3G bar type Smart Handheld. This product support GSM Quad band ( 850, 900, 1800, 1900 ), GPRS ( Class 12 ) , EGPRS ( Class 12 ) , UMTS ( Band I & VIII or Band II & V ) , and HSDPA on Android platform. Support both GPS and AGPS.

    Looks like a budget class from Acer. Can’t wait for it. The Acer A1 Liquid already is selling like hotcakes, if this one comes in slightly cheaper still, I would be seriously considering it. Acer sells really competitive netbooks, so they know what they’re doing.
