Tech lifestyle blog shufflegazine have taken few snap shots at a recent press event held by Acer over in Beijing. As far as we are concerned, the highlight of the event has to be the unveiling of the company’s 7-inch Android tablet. This is especially sweet given that not so long ago Acer denied ever wanting to get involved in the tablet market, let along with Android at the helm.

Lanci, the Acer CEO, failed to let-loose any juicy specifications for us to get our claws into, however, he did hint at a fourth quarter launch. We’ll believe it when we see it. The only other thing that Shufflegazine are reporting is that the device might have 3G. Sorry this isn’t more glamorous.
