Acer C720 Chromebook (7)

Up until now, the only country to offer the Acer C720 Chromebook via the Play Store was the United States, but this changes starting today. Earlier today we reported that the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 were making there way to several new countries, and now the C720 is also rolling out to Google Play in four new markets: Canada, Germany, the UK and France.

Although the Chromebook C720 already had limited availability through select retailers such as Amazon, selling the device via the Play Store certainly makes it easier to get your hands on the device. As for the hardware, the C720 features an Intel Celeron CPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB SSD. Other specs include an 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768, and a battery that offers between 8-9 hours of life.

What do you think, anyone planning on picking the C720 up directly through Google?
