We are getting closer and closer to the kickoff of CES, and with that come more and more rumors of what may be announced at this years’ event. Since ASUS has seen great success with it’s 10-inch Transformer, and Transformer Prime, it looks like they may be going into the 7-inch tablet market. Based on the picture it looks like it is running Ice Cream Sandwich – Android 4.0.

The image above comes from an Italian website, Notebook Italia and the source also suggests that the 7-incher will be unveiled at this year’s CES in Las Vegas, which should come as no surpise since the event is less then a week away at this point. Don’t forget to stick with Android Authority for all the excitement, unveilings and announcements at CES, we have you covered as always.

According to Notebook Italia this 7-inch tablet should be on the market in February 2012, which is not that far away. This tablet will include a 1280×800 display with a 1.2QHz dualcore Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, with 16GB to 64GB flash memory and 3G and WiFi models. As we get closer to CES, I expect to see more rumors and hopefully confirmations about the 7-inch ASUS Eeepad tablet.

If the only difference is size then I think the price tag is decent. If it lacks other functionality it should drop another fifty bucks or so.
